Guess what? My garden is producing food! That we can eat! Last year, I grew a lot of stuff... but it was such a lousy year, and I didn't exactly know what I was doing, so my grand total was thus: a handful of tomatoes, one zucchini, corn that I forgot to pick in time so got starchy... and decorative pumpkins. Not a lot of eating there. But that was last year. Forget last year!

This year, as you can see, is going great. Here are my totals so far (and the tomatoes and zucchini are just getting started!)
Cherry Tomatoes: 2.24 lbs
Regular Tomatoes: 7.8 lbs
Baby Dutch Potatoes: 7.1 lbs
Pickling Cucumbers: 13.75 lbs
Fancy Zucchini: l.5 lbs
As you can see, what was nothing back in May has grown to monstrous proportions. The pumpkin patch, in particular, is taking over.

Impressive backyard garden. I keep meaning to plant one. This year I finally at least got an herb garden in the ground. If it goes well then next year I will progress to actual vegetables!
